The Virome Report for TEPHI Wastewater Working Group
This report provides a summary of the human viruses detected in wastewater from various sites throughout Texas , and is accessible to those public health and utility partners that are part of the TexWEB network.
The work is supported by funding to the Texas Epidemic Public Health Institute (TEPHI) as part of the 87th legislative session (Bill SB1780). Virus levels are monitored by two distinct methods, comprehensive deep sequencing (CDS) and quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
